Our founder, President, and CEO, Phil Harwood, was educated in the real world and in the classroom. Growing up in his family's marketing business, Phil learned about hard work at a young age, operating printing equipment, making deliveries, and assisting customers. He learned about teamwork when he was voted captain of his high school ice hockey team. He attended Michigan State University where he was elected President of Alpha Kappa Psi Business Fraternity his junior year.

Phil earned a Master of Business Administration degree with honors and Bachelor of Arts degree in marketing from the Broad College of Business at Michigan State University. He is also a PLANET Trailblazer, Landscape Industry Certified Manager, Certified Snow Professional, Certified Pesticide Applicator, and Master Gardener.

As the leader of Pro-Motion Consulting, Phil instills in his team a commitment to education. This commitment is evidenced by his service on the Weekend MBA Alumni Board of Directors since 2004.
